Update on Our Online Medical and Administrative System

Since 16 December, we have been piloting a new online medical and administrative system with the aim of improving how we receive, review, and respond to patient enquiries. We hoped this would provide a more streamlined and responsive service for our patients.

As part of our evaluation, we have reviewed extensive staff feedback and listened carefully to the written and verbal concerns raised by patients during the pilot, which made it clear that the system was not meeting patient needs. We understand that many patients have found it difficult to navigate and it has also placed additional demands on our practice team.

For these reasons, we will be reinstating our previous online system, which will be going live from our website from this Friday morning, 23 January.

There is nothing you need to do at this stage other than to please bear with us while we make the transition back. Once restored, the functionality will be the same as it was previously.

Please note that NHS App functionality will need to be re-enabled as part of this process. This is managed by the NHS App team and can take up to two weeks to complete. While we are hopeful this will be reinstated sooner, we want to manage expectations and thank you for your patience during this period.  Please continue using the NHS App for prescriptions.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this period of change. As a practice, it is important to us that we continue to move with the times and embrace new technology where it makes sense. Equally important is listening when something isn’t working and ensuring our services remain safe, accessible, and supportive for both our patients and our staff.
